Todays Parade is….

And todays parade is…..

‘The Freedom of the City Parade’ by the Royal Lancashire Regiment…or some such like bunch. something to do with losing so many members of that Regiment in that war that’s occurring at the moment, the one which shouldn’t really be happening type thang…Nevertheless Still A seriously tragic, sad, senseless and pointless loss of a young peoples lives.

Although, Uhmm, giving the freedom of a city like Manchester to a bunch of Squaddies? Did anyone really think this through?

Other military news today, as we’re on the subject…the Government have ordered two more Aircraft Carriers at a cost of something like 3.4 Billion pounds, meanwhile they’ve applied for European funding to help those stricken by the terrible floods in the Midlands, because we must be broke….how many hospitals, schools, homes, flood victims would that kind of money help….priorities in Westminster? If only we could all afford those toys we’d really like to buy and apply to Europe in order to pay the Household bills…
