I keep this Audio Diary/Blog in order to...

...share some of my sonic memories, as a method of storing recordings and in order to explore some audio ecology ideas. From time to time I’ll also post recordings which I’ve made in the past. It should be remembered that the sounds contained within these pages are generally not what I’d use professionally. My sounds tend to come in two flavours, those that are sonic explorations which I (and hopefully others) find interesting, and those which pay my mortgage!

Brighton Pier and other stuff.

Today (Saturday 26^th) is the first warmish day of the year and the seafront was unbelievably packed with day trippers. I decided to take a walk along the pier, I enjoy the naffness of it all, but much like everywhere else on a Saturday (and as you’ll perhaps hear), it is, as always, a mecca for young drunk Englishmen. The British yob culture continues to get out of control.
