• I keep this Audio Diary/Blog in order to...

  ...share some of my sonic memories, as a method of storing recordings and in order to explore some audio ecology ideas. From time to time I’ll also post recordings which I’ve made in the past. It should be remembered that the sounds contained within these pages are generally not what I’d use professionally. My sounds tend to come in two flavours, those that are sonic explorations which I (and hopefully others) find interesting, and those which pay my mortgage!

   Ha ha, I know the feeling. An interesting topic really. Some sounds are perfectly ok for sleeping. In this case, I would be disturbed by the kids (?) walking by but as for wind, birds, traffic… no problem.

   Not as crazy as the Sewdish seagulls though! The voices are people from a club nearby sneaking outside for a cigarette…
