A really quick journey today but I hope that someone, in the not to distant future, invents a newspaper which is silent when the reader turns a page, for some reason I find this sound particularly irritating.

Which, being British, I find really annoying. For instance below you can see the minimum temperature for my home in Brighton, on Sunday, is actually greater than the maximum. A small thing I know….but it’s the BBC!

Anyway. I’m off to get a life now…

The past few weeks have been bitterly cold, ice, freezing fog and this morning a wonderful layer of snow.
Of course, the utilities companies have raised the cost of heating by so much in the past six months (smaller profits made in the recent years?) that we’re all going to be paying for the ‘luxury’ of keeping warm for a lot longer than we’d normally expect, if indeed anyone can afford to pay at all.
